Osteoarthritis

This patient shows the classic radiologic features of severe osteoarthritis
Diffuse joint space narrowing, Subchondral (juxta-articular) sclerosis
Osteophyte formation, and Subchondral cysts
An umbrella osteophyte may occur circumferentially around the femoral head
and/or humeral head in severe OA
Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common arthritis
OA frequently involves hands, hips, knees, and AC joints
