Shoulder: Necrotizing Fasciitis on CXR and CT scan


Necrotizing fasciitis is a rare disorder that is rapidly progressing and fatal (50-70% if untreated). It requires broad spectrum antibiotics and early intervention with aggressive surgical debridement and fasciotomy. Early on, the patient feels extremely sick, but physical signs may be less than expected
